CHENOPODIACEAE Chenopodium nitrariaceum
Branched spinescent shrub to 2.5m high. Found in all states, grows on heavy alluvial soils, found by the Murray River and its associated floodplains. These discovered beside the Loddon River downstream (north) of Bridgewater. Flowers: tiny – less than 3mm across. Flower season: mainly Feb – Aug.
